Braille Boxes

Braille Boxes!

Braille Readers Network offers an exciting way for children who are visually impaired to use their brailing and resource skills to communicate with their peers through Braille Box©. Braille Box© is a braille-based pen pal program that exchanges of tactile items and audio materials between braille readers! It connects individuals from various communities and classrooms. The goal of the program is to increase geographical awareness, build friendships, and improve braille skills. Braille Box© is designed to help in meeting this goal by encouraging braille readers to trade materials, share interests, and braille! Braille Box© is open to teachers and their classrooms, as well as parents and their children…
